Katrina's son, Hendrix, was diagnosed at 2.5 years old as "mild to severe Autistic."  She knew the journey would be uphill, and lifelong- and that's what made her work even harder.  Getting early childhood services has definitely been helpful in her son's progressions.  A lot of Hendrix's success has been behind a supportive family system, and numerous people that encompass a loving, fun and LOUD village.

Katrina was able to identify some early signs of Autism, as her twin Nephews (who are now 13) were diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum as well.  Although every Autistic individual is different, she's never thought of him/them as less.  They've always been her "more."  More reasons to advocate, more inclusion, and more awareness.
